Being

I am, due to the universe being. Who would I be if there were no universe to uphold my being? I am but a snapshot of a pebble already in decay. My comfort and home resides in the universe being. Being manifests in me to see how far it has come. From unity springs division, and from division unity is reborn. There is never a moment you aren’t a reflection of the universe being. See through the facade of change and see what remains. Inexplicably we are all sharing the burden of being. One is not the decaying flesh you see, but awareness intention in action. Life must be lived for universal good. No amount of delusional abstractions of divisions will ever unite the thread of the universe’s being that gives us all this very breath. Until you can want love and opportunity for progress for all, you are perpetuating division. One must respect the awareness that pervades all being while allowing presence for the uniqueness of singular awareness. Until we can all be humanists seeking to uplift universal being, then our ideas of progress will always self destruct.

I Hate That You Hate Yourself

Why are you sad? The truth is hard to swallow. You’re overtraining to try to fight the past. Burnt out of self hatred. Can’t fake another smile. All my muscles ache in defeat, and I’m left with just this one breath. Doubt whispers what’s wrong with me. Anger screams I hate you. Sadness cries in loneliness. But deep down it’s the bottom of a well. It’s been darkness for years, I forgot what light looks like. Last breath, might as well enjoy it. Negativity, has it ever helped me? You don’t need to hate yourself anymore. They all could be the last one. Ultimately, the only valuable thing in life is what I am experiencing in this one breath.

Whatever It Is

How can I be the one who joyfully appreciates all that I have, while just as easily resentfully remembering all that I hate with this existence? What are all these images that I compare my living reality to? How many times must I tare myself apart to fit my idol? Will my darkness ever let this breath be enough? Or will I be convinced that the last speck won’t let me see through the window of being? Will I only see my weakness, because I can’t see my strength? Will I ever allow myself worthiness amidst deserving nothing? Can I even do so? Whatever it is, how shall I balance the dichotomy of being? Will intending good ever mean enough? Whatever it will be, time will consume all my intentions.

Influence

I wonder of all that influences me. Can I ever know all that influences me? Can one know absolute clarity? If not, what gives us the inclination to speak and act so vehemently for truth. How can we do so if we can never know absolute truth? See the puppet strings that have brought you to now. Abandon them all if they weren’t truths you have come to know. If you have not known it to be truth, then you have no creedence to speak it or act it. You are sinning against yourself if you can’t break down all your suppositions and recreate them with truth. Have you chosen what influences you, or has the ecological environment done that for you every time you attempted to learn something? Your environment always influences you through the presence of your being. Your choice is taking knife to bone to cut out all the lies, or just lay and whimper as an infection spreading a virus of lies because you didn’t think through to distinguish truth from lies.

Friendly Fire

People say it’s a tragedy when a fellow soldier accidentally kills a fellow soldier. Is it not the same when a human kills another human? Death comes for all, let death earn it’s life. We need not be a catalyst to waste human potential as a gift to death. Is nature’s antagonism not enough of an opponent for the collective consciousness that is humanity? What if self could see self in other? To see other as a reflection of self. I am you, and you are me in the reflection of consciousness. Our vessels perish, but consciousness reawakens with another perspective of infinity. All perspectives are true and real. Each perspective has it’s own unique wisdom. Consciousness must be united if there can be good. We all need to breathe this breath. We’re not that different.

Substance

A human doesn’t have to die in order to become the universe. Universe is the substance of a human, a human is already the universe. No one is born and no one dies. The substance of being is non being. Don’t remain in your relative viewpoint. See the absolute viewpoint that is the totality of the universe. This is the substance of your being. There is no place and no time where you are not connected to the universe. You are the infinite looking through the one, in the infinity of being. Don’t just look through your eyes, look through the eyes of the universe and see the expanse of the infinite and expanding spacetime. By the fact of your being, the universe has declared you substantial. Choose to be substantial for the totality that you are connected to.

Fear

I’m scared. Scared of what, I’m unsure. I think it’s that which may come, but why be fearful of that which isn’t? Always letting imaginary ghosts derail the bliss of this breath. I am scared I am unworthy of this breath. My past tells me I’m not and informs my future that I won’t be. Fear of the unknown terrifies me. Will my anxiety ever fade away? Will anything I do ever matter? Time dances behind the now, never telling me when death will arrive. Instead I run around wondering when my shadow will devour me. Will my love triumph over fear and mean anything? Or will it all wash away? I lament my not knowing. Nothing ever comes tomorrow. I chuckle at the tease of life, smiling now, at least I have this breath.

Ideologies

Thoughts can become functional restrictions. We use our box of self to distinguish from other. Don’t fail to see that self and other are contained in a unity. If your perspective is aimed by looking down on other, then you have failed. Any ideology that doesn’t do good for all parts of the whole is flawed. Love is giving, and seeks to simultaneously uplift all of humanity. Anything less is only an illusory good aimed at improving those who suppose such change. Don’t speak, to silence, that isn’t love. Your only judgements of morality should be your actions. To speak is to know, to have known, is to have heard and understood other. Compassionate listening is a must to understand another. Seek to start with the most important awareness, respect another’s will and presence. Ideas that don’t aim to do good for the all, aren’t truly good. Before you attempt to improve humanity, make sure you’ve improved yourself.

Ruthless Love

The greatest gift for self is ruthless love. Who can love you, but yourself? No love can touch you if you don’t allow it penetrate your heart. Notice every breath as a moment to love. Contemplate ruthlessly observing yourself in a trance of love. Imagine hugging yourself, feel it and it will be real. You are an extension of the universe and your paradigm of experience. Every moment you must love yourself, by extension you must love the universe you experience. Never quit loving, there is no better action feeling. Quiet the voices, speak in your mind with love. Can you feel the energy flowing through every cell you are experiencing? Breathe in loving energy, and exhale back loving energy into the universe you inhabit. You are not alone, you are connected to the absolute that is absolutely incomprehensible.

Observing

What does it mean to see? Go beyond seeing and observe. Empty your mind to your observation. Be aware that you are aware. Observe as one who has never observed before. All the wondrous colors creating your observation. Observe the fluctuations of the scene. Every time you open your eyes there is a new scene to behold. Life, the universe, is flowing with spacetime through you. Marvel at the awe of a star filled night sky. See and resonate through the wondrous window of you seeing outside, as you remain inside of your perceptions. What you perceive outside starts with how you internally perceive. Perceive with wonder how awesome it is to observe the fascinating scene of the universe as it evolves through spacetime. Let mere observing and awareness to observe be seen as a miracle born from nothingness.

Wish I Was There

Sadness ensues as my self hatred bubbles to the surface. Remembering all the times I’ve failed. Telling myself something is wrong with me. Darkness my friend returns perched on my shoulders. The past not here physically, but mentally it is. All I want to do is let go of self hatred and let acceptance ensue. Yet, the same voice remains, a monster I’ve created that won’t die. I fondly remember spaces of loving acceptance and wish I was there. A smile and warmth ensues. I close my eyes and time travel. Enveloped in a space of being loved, even when I can’t love myself. Kindness seeing me and remaining kind, even when I’ve lost my kindness for self. The gift of another, I’m humbled and thankful.

The Power of Awareness

Written By: Daniel Gluska

Is the illusion of being a self fulfilling prophecy not a lie we tell ourself? Is our bridging the conception of past into the future, nothing but a way to hold ourselves back? Are we not putting ourselves to sleep as we let ourselves live unconsciously? A weak excuse to pretend we don’t have power. Without responsible awareness we are weak and trapped in our mind. We let ourselves be moved by the subconscious winds of past and future. Is this what we really want? Do we really want to continually look over are shoulder in dismay? Do we want to always blame what has been as the cause of a future devoid of intent? Or perhaps we can awaken the self within right here and now. We can be fully present and choose intentionally what I am.

Blessed With Satiety

Written By: Daniel Gluska

Blessed in this point that is here and now in spacetime. From the big bang until now has been one long dance of atoms and subatomic particles coming together into this wondrous meal. The universe’s behavior conspired for me to be sustained here and now. From the dirt to the trees, and through the hands of humans. One long conspiracy of chemistry, physics, biology, and all of existence uniting this happening into being. My stomach continues to growl so I continue to experience. Each moment I am sustained through existence is a blessing. I am blessed to be sustained by this wondrous meal.

Graspless

Written By: Daniel Gluska

Is there something for us to grasp onto? Why do we so incessantly grasp when life tells us it is the sand slipping through our fingers? When will we feel ahead of time instead of running out of time? A coin isn’t heads or tails. There is no perspective of heads or tails within the actual coin as it is until we imprint a head and a tail. Life isn’t past or future. Life isn’t running away. Life is always dancing pattern in being here and now. To attempt to grasp life is to attempt to grasp time. You will chase your tail until you die. Can you see past the labels of past and future? See the game of the dividing mind for what it is. Don’t be your divided mind, be consciousness in all it’s experience of being. Be clarity and mindfulness to be the positive growth the universe necessitates here and now.

Distinction

Written By: Daniel Gluska

I seek my higher self, or so I think. Who is I that is seeking a higher self to hold onto for safety? Does my missing higher self mean I am my lower self? Does being my lower self only arise in the illusion of fumbling in the dark for a higher self to be discovered? What if I don’t seek my higher self? Can I still do what is right? Do I even need my higher self? The only thing I own are my actions. If my brooding darkness is embodied for right action, is it not good? Why run from the gift of darkness? Why not take complete responsibility? Is maturity not being able to look in the mirror and POWERFULLY SAY EVERYTHING IS MY FAULT! What most matters is not where we come from. We all come from the far and wide vastness of spacetime. What matters is what we manifest in being right here and now.
